FLIR Si2-LD, Industrial Acoustic Imaging Camera for Pressurized Leak Detection and Mechanical Fault Detection
The FLIR Si2-LD acoustic imaging camera enables you to detect and reduce leaks in facilities, thereby cutting costs associated with compressed air and specialty gas leaks. Beyond these capabilities, it also identifies mechanical faults, such as bearing issues, facilitating preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.
This lightweight, one-handed solution produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud industrial environments.
Key Features:
- Detects, locates, and measures compressed air and gas leaks; including bearing fault detection, from up to 200 m (656 ft) away
- Built-in measurement and cost analysis for industrial gases including ammonia, hydrogen, CO2, methane, helium, and argon
- One-handed operation with automatic tuning, 8x zoom, and a 12 MP digital camera
- Mechanical fault mode, automatic selection, and optimization of filters simplifies finding critical mechanical issues, such as bearing faults
- Fleet management functionality for efficient tool usage and maintenance across large-scale operations
Get your compressed air leak detection program up and running in minutes
The FLIR Si2-LD is an easy-to-use, stand-alone system for locating pressurized leaks and also identifies mechanical faults, such as bearing issues, facilitating preventative maintenance to avoid downtime. This lightweight, one-handed solution is designed to help maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering professionals identify air leaks up to 10 times faster than with traditional methods. The Si2-LD produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud, industrial environments. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time on a digital camera picture, allowing the user to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound. The Si2-LD features a plugin that enables users to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation.
Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service.
Available in additional models which include a cordless battery option: the Si2-PD for electric utility applications, or the Si2 for both electric utility and leak-detection applications, plus mechanical faults detection.
