Seria de camere ace de la Basler ofera o valoare fantastica. Acest model este construit in jurul unui senzor CCD color Sony cu scanare progresiva cu rezolutia de 658 x 492 pixeli, la o rata de scanare pana la 100 de cadre pe secunda.
Deoarece camera Basler ace GigE folosește aceeași amprentă de 29 x 29 mm care a fost standard pe camerele analogice de multi ani, inlocuirea camerelor analogice este foarte usoara. Unele camere tip Camera Link si IEEE 1394a sau 1394b cu aceeasi amprenta se pot inlocui deasemenea foarte usor.
Camerele din seria Pilot de la Basler se potrivesc perfect pentru o mare varietate de aplicatii vizuale incluzand inspectia semiconductorilor si componentelor electronice, inspectia produselor alimentare, controlul calitatii productiei, sisteme de trafic inteligent, microscopie si imagistica medicala, biometrie si multe altele.
