The thermal imager optris PI 640i is the smallest measuring VGA infrared camera worldwide. With an optical resolution of 640x480 pixels, the PI 640i delivers pin-sharp radiometric pictures and videos in real time. The high-definition optris PI 640i infrared camera is best used in applications where finest thermal details matter. It significantly contributes to process optimization in both research and development and in industry.

Due to its compact design, with a body sized 45x56x90 mm and weighing only 269 - 340 g (depending on lens), and an affordable pricing, the new Optris PI precision thermal camera is ideally suited for OEM applications (SDK software free).

A wide range of optics, including the new 90° lens, equips the optris PI 640i to collect and analyze temperature information over a wide target area.

The IR analysis software optris PIX Connect sets benchmarks within the thermography branch by offering its users extensive recording and real-time analysis options. In addition, moving measuring objects can be monitored via line scan function. 

A real-time data transfer to external software programms, including radiometric video sequences and snap shots, text files for the analysis in Excel as well as files containing color information for standard programs such as Adobe Photoshop or the Windows Media Player, is supported by the software PIX connect. 

The real time software optris PIX Connect sets benchmarks within the thermography branch and offers its users extensive recording and analysis possibilities.
